Perfect for honeymoons and special occasions, the entire third story of The Scofield House has been transformed into a single private and very romantic suite. The bedroom area is dominated by an 1860's Eastlake walnut queen-sized bed from which the wonders of a star-filled Door County night may be enjoyed through the skylights over the bed.

The sitting area includes comfortable furniture and a flat-panel TV. Oak doors salvaged from Augusta Scofield’s sewing room cabinets conceal a wet bar, refrigerator, and VCR/DVD and CD player. Other artifacts include tin ceiling panels and oak railing saved from the 1876 Door County Courthouse. The over-sized double whirlpool occupies one side of the room and overlooks the massive marble-hearth fireplace. Your private bath offers a walk-in shower and colorful mosaic tile floor. Ahhh....this is the stuff dreams are made of!
